Wake onto 3rd pitcher, Gunther. Ariolo had 34 pitches before being removed. Shouldn't be available tomorrow (not that his performance warranted going tomorrow). Lead 6-3 going to B3. Great game for us so far.

Cal reliever has 7.28 ERA, yikes.

But realize if we get Cal, everyone will say we haven't played enough "good" teams. (tic)

The guy that just took the mound (green) was described by the announcers as their closer. ERA under 3. Think they’re burning some arms they’d like to have against us tomorrow.

ETA.. Cal had exactly ONE 3+ game winning streak all year. It was a 5-game streak involving a sweep at Stanford sandwiched by mid-week wins on either side of that series.

Meh. Avoid facing Wake's first team all ACC stud AND face a Cal team that will be on it's 6th game in 8 days instead. I'll take it.
