Yeah, in hindsight it looks like Ramsey chose to save Patel for Monday in case of a loss instead of going all out to win Sunday. I think he was too afraid to have nobody on Monday.
It speaks volumes to our overall record but our talent is still legit and should've been capable of winning 1 of 2 against a depleted mediocre SEC team. Maybe we only win 35-40 games in the SEC, we still should be in the Super Regionals.
Lol I actually think Ramsey proved to be correct leaving Patel in for so long. Nobody else appears capable. We would've given up 20 runs if not for Patel.
Yeah every other bracket pool I'm in has some Michigan picks. Shocked nobody here had them.
Also quite amazing how you can turn around getting only 3/8 Elite 8 teams right.
Trying to figure out if I was an idiot taking Miami to the Elite 8 or ingenious that with the foresight that they could even make Purdue stoop to their level of **** show.
Interesting day today.
Out of principle, I picked Siena over Duke and almost looked like it had a chance. I like McNamara's thought around playing his 5 starters all 40 minutes but it ultimately killed them. You could see they had no legs left on offense down the stretch and couldn't get...
Hard to make that call off the success of a single QB.
I do find it amusing though... I became a fan when I was a kid because of Joe Hamilton. The biggest downside at the time was, through all of Hamilton's success, FSU was arguably the best team in the country capping his success.
Because of...
Maybe the fact that they had Luke Schoonmaker and Colston Loveland catching passes from the TE position? If you're point is we're trying to mirror that, I'm not sure we have anywhere close to the same TE talent level.
Malachi Toney is about the only one that could potentially move the ball on Indiana's D. Game will come down to him and Miami keeping the game low scoring.
