I believe the big key for Miami to have any chance is to be able to run the ball effectively. Can there OL get push against Indiana's DL. If yes, they can slow the game down like they did against Ole Miss particularly in the first half. If they can't, I think Indiana will run away with this.Favorites have covered the line in the natty six times in a row. I don’t think Miami gets mauled like Bama or Oregon but am abstaining from betting on this one since I don’t see any value in the line.
Yes shorten the game, reduce IU’s possessions. The question is can they drive the field that way without making mistakes?I believe the big key for Miami to have any chance is to be able to run the ball effectively. I have not yet seen a DL that Miami cannot push. Maybe Indiana’s is the one? We’ll see. I have not seen an OL that Miami cannot penetrate. Maybe Indiana’s is the one? Miami is, in my opinion, the best LOS team in the country and certainly the best that Indiana will face. That difference, however, could be offset by how well coached Indiana is. I think the odds makers have it right.I have not yet seen a DL that Miami cannot push. Maybe Indiana’s is the one? We’ll see. I have not seen an OL that Miami cannot penetrate. Craziest part is he's not just throwing screens. This includes out routes from the wide hash, deep contested balls... It's insane.he only had 5 incomplete passes
What strikes me is that Indiana seems much more disciplined that Miami, and that could spell the difference. Hope the 'Canes can win, but this is a major uphill climb IMO.Miami is, in my opinion, the best LOS team in the country and certainly the best that Indiana will face. The guy who runs the service department at my car dealer is an Ohio State fan. He’s convinced they would have beaten Indiana if they had any kind of kicking game. He also thinks Miami is the toughest team they faced. FWIW.
They're going to have to cut down on illegal procedures and false starts. They had a few of those against Ole Miss and it almost cost them the game.Yes shorten the game, reduce IU’s possessions. The question is can they drive the field that way without making mistakes?

Agree with that and feel the same way. I am really hoping it is a good game that goes down to the last few possessions. I mean, last night I turned the game over at halftime to watch the 8 gazillionth episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network (on a Friday night). That's sad. That being said, I see Indiana winning, though I am not confident enough to say they cover.

Should be a closer game for the Hoosiers than Alabama or Oregon, but no way would I take the points. Hope I'm wrong and Miami bettors cash in on the money line.
