All four of them are immediately in front of us

So I honestly think the committee might give us credit for playing tough with Georgia. Yes we lost to Pitt, but Georgia is a quality loss for sure and we are 9-3.

Also we lost a close game, others got blown out, but I would not be surprised to see us go unranked cause CFP hates us.

Humor me Stech while I make one more point....when you guys write, "Our OL stinks".....I must ask, well, WHO. exaactly.?..which one?...name a name...'m sure Stech knows this already, but the OL is made up of FIVE different guys...in our 2025 rotation, there are six....so do they all 6 "stink" equally? Or is it one particular OLman killing us while the others are OK? Let's call his fat *** out and humiliate him properly!
Oh well, what do I know about OL play...except it is always their fault when we lose...

Well, for starters, it took us 3 weeks into the season to learn how to snap the ball and even then we've had sporadic bad snaps even in the last game. We also never really seemed to figure out where Pitt and UGA were bringing pressure from. Those are good defenses and they make that difficult, but it looked like we failed to check into the right protections repeatedly. That's on someone, usually also the center.

Bigger issue is that we couldn't get anyone but Hosley going at all this season so when he wasn't at 100% allegedly, the whole run game came crashing to a halt. That, to me, was more on the TE blocking that kept us from getting to the edges with Jamal, but still you would think we could road grade behind 77, but never seemed to get there. I think we ended up with our "best 5" but a couple guys playing out of position, so blame the coaches for that as well.

I think it’s just time for the UGA and Georgia Tech rivalry to end UGA has won this game for the last eight years now not to say anything against Georgia Tech but to keep up with the recruiting and having the talent with Georgia will not be probably possible in the state of Georgia do the fact that Georgia will get more money than Georgia Tech in the NIL funds as Georgia Tech focuses more on academics which is awesome which I think it should be .. Georgia Tech is highly Pro academic schools in the nation in the world. plus more and more you go to these games there’s more Georgia fans than actually tech fans because More of Georgia fans come out and dominate every stadium that Georgia Georgia Tech plays so it’s basically a home game for Georgia no matter what whether it be in Atlanta or being in Athens because more of their fans focus more on the athletics part which is fine I just think that this role in Georgia Tech needs to focus more on the ACC because the ACC is getting better and better each year and would like to see them focus more on that conference and just forget about this game and see what they can do with the ACC and go from there just my opinion

Weight is a non issue. The shape of a football and the position of the football when a player lands are what matter. The chip would need to cover the entire surface of the ball to be valid. Also the line to gain would need to be hooked up to a system that accurately marked the line to gain.

Is it possible, probably though not easily as there are many variables involved. However it is not something that could be easily done that actually improves the game by a significant margin.

There are likely some techies working on it in garages though! If someone comes up with a solution they might become wealthy quickly!

We made a ton of mistakes or played with little effort with large portions of our team in four straight games and nearly went 0-4 after starting 8-0. There were bright spots in there for sure, but the team collectively played poorly over that stretch and lost three winnable games as a result.

Looking back, we had a little luck to get to 8-0. But that’s how it always works. Then when presented with an opportunity we didn’t lose due to unlucky breaks. We lost because we played poorly. We simply didn’t take advantage of the opportunity presented to us. In the end, we were equally as inconsistent as we were in 2023 and 2024…we simply had all of our bad at the same time.

So yeah, it’s hard to get excited about the holistic results from the season. And I guarantee the team feels the same way. Ask yourself this - do you think Brent Key feels like we made “the jump?” I’m betting he doesn’t.

Key focuses on how well the team plays, and believes outcomes will come from preparing and executing the right way. It’s an outcome of the Saban system.

Overall, our offense took a short step forward. Special teams (despite our opening kick return on Saturday) made major strides. Defense got worse.

The bowl game is an important test to discover how good we can be for next year. Ten wins is nice, but execution is more important.

In our last three ACC games, we performed poorly. That’s something he’s going to address. Offense had issues all season. We also had some of the wrong targets (explosive plays on defense).

I think our perceptions are distorted by looking at it too soon after the season and letting the last month cloud our thinking. I think in the bigger picture, it was a jump and that's how most will see it by the time spring camp rolls around. We have had 9 or more wins in 8 seasons since the year I was born, averaging slightly more than 1 per decade. . The last one took place in 2014. 9 - 3 is a jump. I'm sure Key is probably more pissed about how it unfolded than we are.
