The old "true fan" litmus test.
Of course ask 10 fans what it means to be a "true fan" and you'll get 10 different answers.
There is no objective standard.

When I retire I’m starting up a fan rating service. GT needs to start focusing on the fans that count. Just like a business does not need bad customers, GT does not need bad fans.

So do you get butt hurt when someone who cheers and supports GT win or lose but does not think 12-0 is realistic is called a True Fan?

True fans come in more varieties than we can count. Why anyone puts GT fans down for how they follow, support or enjoy GT sports is beyond me.

I’m going to just assume you didn’t read the whole thread before commenting, and not respond. I’ll consider it asked and answered.

I am hopeful the baseball team will be as good as advertised. That at least gives us something to talk about real time through at least May and maybe June.

In terms of football, Spring Practice and the Spring Game are less than a month away. Not sure much will come out of practice but at least it will be more informed speculation.

Please don't just go off our star ratings. Please also consider the other schools who tried to recruit us as fans. That is more telling imo. You may also want to consider those schools who are tampering with us at the moment. Even though I am pledged to GT it doesn't mean my agent is not hearing from other schools even as we speak here. The transfer portal for us fans is never closed.
