Unless they’re joining the SEC, why would they leave the B1G?

I just realized that. LolYou just commented on a post from 2022 stating that they were leaving the Pac for the B1G...
I agree but we should take any lifeline out of the ACC. As an institution, we align better with the B1G academically. Not gonna lie. Assuming Florida State and Clemson move to the SEC, I’d rather play Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Florida State, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia more than Ohio State, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska and other places I can’t really drive to.

I of the opposite view. We already play Georgia yearly, (and UGA has publicly expressed a desire to maintain "Clean Old Fashion Hate" despite the nine game SEC slate.) and we can easily schedule any of the other nearby SEC schools including Clemson and/of FSU. However, having yearly games with national programs like Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, USC, Oregon, Washington etc., in addition to UGA, (UGA has publicly expressed a desire to maintain "Clean Old Fashion Hate" despite the nine game SEC slate.) plus the occasional nearby SEC power would make GT nationally known and familiar brand and draw. And the ATL airport makes it easy to travel to the BIG 10 locals. GT would need to just win baby! Not gonna lie. We should take the first one of the two that offersNot gonna lie. Assuming Florida State and Clemson move to the SEC, I’d rather play Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Florida State, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia more than Ohio State, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska and other places I can’t really drive to.

i may be in the minority but just couldn’t care less about any of those acc “rivals”I'd want to have VT, Duke, UNC, etc in the mix vs losing them completely to play SEC teams OOC. Would be easier if we were in the SEC to schedule the former ACC rivals for OOC.
I am extremely biased since my brother went there and I lived in SWVA for a few years, but I would really hate to lose the rivalry with VT. They have an amazing football culture at the school and it is easily the most fun away game I’ve ever been to. They are a similar school academically also. They need to turn their football team around, but I still enjoy that rivalry.i may be in the minority but just couldn’t care less about any of those acc “rivals”
Clemson, FSU, Miami sure, the rest…..yawn, nah
You should check out that game at Lane last nightI am extremely biased since my brother went there and I lived in SWVA for a few years, but I would really hate to lose the rivalry with VT.
