All 5 starters were transfers 🙄
Dusty May is in his second year. Coaching changes these days always clean house… gotta build a team from somewhere. It’ll be interesting to see if this remains the norm, but I suspect more player continuity with coaching continuity

Doesn't change much but it is worth noting Burnett was a transfer in his third year at Michigan.

In general they had 4 new transfers, 4 players that were held over from last year, and one freshman of their 9 regularly playing group, and their bench played quite a bit as well.

College football - Miami was a 10 seed and upset Texas A&M and a very large upset against reigning national champion Ohio State. Indiana went 3-9 including 1-8 in conference in 2023.

I consider that parity.

Whereas the NCAA tournament saw no large first round upsets, which is relatively uncommon. And ultimately the final four are top teams.

I almost stated 3 no 1s. But it was lovely watching dook choke it away.

The one common denominator in all of this is that the $EC doesn’t seem to be as dominant - largely due the playing field being leveled with teams being able to legally pay players for play.
B1G is now dominating CFB, MBB, and WBB. All three national championships.

The classic case where one team made a losing play yet the other team still had to make a winning play to actually win the game. Duke never should have given UCONN an opportunity to make a winning play. Duke did and UCONN made a great winning play.

Duke’s loss ensured I will Winn my extended family bracket challenge. Thank you little Boizer 🤣 💰
Based on 3 point averages for most D1 shooters, he had about 60-65% chance of missing that winning shot.
