Normally I would agree with you here, but Narduzzi literally said he didn't care about ND, it didn't matter and he's focused on the ACC.
That was a bad take by him to make an excuse when ND beat Pitt. ND is a much better team than Pitt! Narduzzi is a strange guy. Good football coach but strange!

This may be the wrong thread for this, but I canceled ESPN Unlimited and restarted my YouTube TV subscription. Even more than the added channels (like CBS and NBC and Fox) where I can see sports, the ESPN replays are simply awful. Having to sit through two minutes of ads tacked on throughout the replay is criminal.

sEcSPN has become almost unwatchable for me. Their blatant bias (which has been around for a long time). Remember Jesse “SEC Speed” Palmer back 15 years ago? Now you have the interminable ads. It’s just mind numbing. 🥴

Just for information, but I think it is interesting to take a look at the linked 247 Talent Composite for the ACC. Tech's talent racking in the ACC is higher than six of the teams we played this year. Two are above Tech, Clemson and Syracuse. Clemson is #1 and Syracuse is two spots above GT at #6. I know there are a lot of variables involved like where the talent is distributed on each team. A four or five-star quarterback can overcome a lot of deficiencies. The win over Clemson is one that we can definitely say that we were doing more with less. Otherwise, you might surmise that we should have been favored in 6 of the ACC games as far a talent level is concerned.

The other team that Tech beat who is more talented is Colorado at number 30 while Tech is number 39 nationally. Pick the ALL tab to see the national rankings.

suspiciously similar final to our VT game

Worth noting (but good luck getting the committee to notice) that Miami, compared to GT:
  • allowed more yards to VT (367 vs 395)
  • gained fewer yards against VT (418 vs 481)
which is nice to see after their shellac'ing of NCST last week.
You might add the fact that Miami threw for a TD in the last minute of the game in order to reach 34 points. Key would have been taking a knee since the game was already won but Miami wanted to go for style points instead of just finishing the game.

The FSU schadenfreude is alive and thriving.
And that’s really something too!

They legit got jobbed at 13-0 and being left out but they just annihilated all sympathy with their petulant “we rule and the rest of the ACC sucks!!” whining and lawsuit.

FSU fans are angry at keeping Norvell and I get it. This season isn’t acceptable for FSU but they’ve been spending a ton on stadium, coaches, etc. Who has money to buy him out let alone being in someone else.

Miami needs style points right now. They are on the CFP bubble and those style points are their only real hope for getting in should a 1 loss team lose on rivalry weekend.
