Beautiful weather this weekend. Games 6, 4 1PM.

Cal is 6-9 in ACC having been swept at home last weekend by Clemson. Lost 1-2 series to @L'Ville, UVa, @Duke. And swept Stanford at home.

Hope Lodise is back and we get some good news on Schmidt soon.

I think defense is going to be important as always in this series. Team fielding at .973. I wanted to make this a poll question but would have to take Burress off. Maybe next week. People can write in over/under in this game for extra credit. I take the over. (Same to 3 decimal places will be determined by going to more decimal places with help of @gtbeak and @GT33 ).

Burress currently at .366 BA.

Geisler is hitting again too so that lessens Schmidt's loss just a little, but we definitely need them both back ASAP. Hopefully Lodise will play this weekend.

Ummm, Burress BA is a trap question. Shouldn’t it be BELOW 0.366000001 or ABOVE 0.366000002?
The way you’ve written it leaves nothing in between unless he winds up hitting 0.3660000005

For a player to hit exactly .366 such that the decimal places matter, the player would need at least 30 ABs (actually that would be .367, but I stopped there...Stinger could probably help identify the true minimum)). If we hit enough for Burress to get 30 ABs we either have a really long extra inning game(s) or the two teams score so many runs that I'm quite confident in taking the over for Burress.

I need you to be more explicit. Are you calling @GTNavyNuke or @MWBATL a big ol' dummy? I'm too much of a big ol' dummy to decipher.

Kind of off the poll question although I hope we win all 3 games. I'm heading to my first GT baseball game Saturday evening after catching the spring game. I'm bringing my kids with me. Any way to get pictures or signatures with players? It says it's signature Saturday, what does that mean?

Don ’t know about the promotion, but if you get to the game early, kids always cluster by the GT dugout to get player signatures before the game (like 30-45 minutes early)

You can go stand by the dugout after the game or stand down the 3rd base line railing and players will come to give autographs.

McKee , Jones, Spivey. No surprise.

Very optimistic poll with 69% expecting a sweep. Cal is not that bad and it's baseball. No wonder Charlie Brown gets hurt so much.

Cal hadn't been swept in an ACC series until last week vs Clemson, and even then two of those games were very close.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us run-rule these guys in three straight games, but the more realistic option is the law of averages factors in and we win two.

Let's start by winning game 1. Today that's the only game that matters.

Go Jackets!

Nice McKee Patel win. 8-5 rougher than some expected but a win is a win.

Just win tomorrow.

Any rumour when Lodise will be back? Or Schmidt?

And a less than 3 hour game! Throw back.
