I think GT's undergrad growth on a % basis looks very good, but on a raw numbers basis it is at best avg and probably below avg.You can convert some in-person grad students to at least be secondary fans but I think close to 20k or more of the 33 at GT are pure online.
Do you know if GT undergrad has grown more than average over the last couple decades when it went from like 14k to 22k? Looks like UT Austin hasn’t increased as much as a quick giant-school ref point. But Purdue has gone up like 14k in ten years.
Just a function of the divisor in the base for GT is much smaller to start with than most of its competitors.
GT is likely always going to have to deal with having a smaller undergrad base.
It's also worth noting that the demographics of GT undergraduate student body are significantly different than most P4 public schools.
