Will someone tell these jokers how normalization works? That if EVERYONE increases their revenue by a dumb new gimmick it's effectively the same as if NOBODY did?

Oh wait but the administrators can justify their own pay raises. :(

(Though it'll be funny if ND abstains and gets a disadvantage as a result.)

I’m sure there will be plenty of embarrassing and cringe worthy sponsor patches. What with the all mighty dollar and everything. Reminds me of stadium naming rights*, but worse.

*like Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field Hyundai Field … Too soon?

If I’m Key I would tell Ryan Alpert “if any corporation logo is placed on the Georgia Tech uniform I will immediately resign.”
Worst case scenario, things will devolve until it's the same as watching a random soccer game...you don't have any idea which teams you are watching until the announcers mention them. Otherwise it looks like a industrial league contest between XXX Airlines and WQB international Bank.

Thankfully from what it sounds like, it’ll probably be like the NBA/MLB right now and be at worst off putting. NBA has done it right (if you’re to do it at all) in my opinion, as their jersey ads do not take away or disrupt from the team identity.
