I thought he was excellent, great game insight pitch to pitch, batter to batter, inning to inning. Some great stories as well.

FWIW, I have grown to like Colin Lacy on the play by play over the last season plus. Good to listen while at the game and/or with the game on the TV. Although not frequent, Colin and Wiley are also very good together and usually trade off play by play. Wiley is actually very good at color commentary.

Agree that we have a lot of good commentators. Wiley is my favorite, I think Hall was really interesting. I was a bit disappointed Hall wasn't on this weekend.

The move to Friday makes it even more unlikely that we see anybody from Tuesday's game start the extra game.
My guess is that Willcox will get his first start. Buursema another option.

Weather looks fine for tomorrow, but Sunday will be a doozy. Temps in the low 40's but winds 20-25 mph and gusts much higher than that. February baseball. Fun stuff. We'll see if the wind is blowing out. All of a sudden Wrigley Field looking at direction of flags waving comes to mind.

Any thoughts on McKelvey? On a rewatch he had at least a couple pitches where he was wincing.

I noticed McKelvey was showing discomfort the pitch before he called the staff over. Thats when you come out and check on him in a perfect world, problem was that he was absolutely dealing. He probably convinced himself he was fine, then ultimately felt something harsher the next pitch.
Looked like shoulder, which itself is not good. Hope just precautionary, but i had a bad feeling live.
