Who picks up the running game with HK gone. Holsey is good but not that big. They seem reluctant to use Maddox much. Maybe a big RB is in the portal.
Hosley is a stud and should be the starter. Hopefully a younger player steps up or we get someone in portal but if Hosely is healthy he is great.

We have adequate help coming up. Powell and Marshall are both highly regarded. Remember Powell's first run in the Temple game? 65 yards and running away from everybody. A real 4 star and Marshall is not far behind - his senior year he rushed for 1817 yards and 28 TDs. These young men have talent and only need a chance to show it.

Hosley is clearly our best RB and expect him to start. He actually ran between the tackles pretty well. Our inability to score TD's inside the red zone or on short yardage downs was a problem at times with smaller backs. Big backs also can provide better blocking protection. Some of our best runs were counters rather than straight up runs.

Canion reportedly being sought after by some SEC teams. One coached by the one and only Lane Kiffin… I’d miss him if he left but I think we have some good talent.

Money talks. We saw that with Singleton last year. He's WR1/2 here but would be WR3/4/5 at best at LSU. Kiffin wasn't lying when he said the $$ pool at LSU was the main reason for leaving Ole Miss.

Let him walk. WRs don’t win games and we have a ton of them. Eric Singleton didn’t take Auburn to the next level… I would say Canion is solid but he is replaceable just like every other WR in today’s game. He’s no Calvin or DT

I do not want to lose any above average contributors and think that Canion would be our clear #1 next year

Canion seems to be developing whereas Singleton was pretty much all hype that he never lived up to. Canion passes the eye test in ways our guys rarely do. As the season progressed, he arguably became our best WR. It’s not the best comparison.

Canion looks solid and promising. However, Singleton's worst year was more productive than Canion’s year this year. Interesting how folks like to bash guys who transferred out.

I would take Singleton over Canion but I don’t believe either are a make or break to our success. Singleton helped stretch the field with his speed. Canion reminds me more a Deandre Smelter solid possession receiver but can’t take the top off a defense.

You might get both.
