Six players gone, 5 remain as of April 2, 2026. Need 10 players plus 4 unnamed ast coaches besides Magrum plus strength coach plus up to 6 GA's plus ? what evers if as large a basketball office as last year. Definitely a rebuilding year. I don't know how the former letters of intent now financial aid and commitment contracts except the one signed with the Naval Academy for participation on the track and field team. That satisfied the NCAA as a "contract". She is almost done at Newport RI Naval Prep School (like a redshirt year) and accepted to move on the the academy in Annapolis. Shared revenue income would likely be listed like her monthly allowance, but for the school year. NIL would be a different agreement if she had that. Hopefully my grandson will sign a contract with a D1 college for baseball and possibly football next week for next academic year after graduating from junior college in May. I will then know how that reads.

Here’s hoping OKG eventually becomes M(my)KG. Don’t expect it to happen next year. I anticipate that next year’s record will be really bad. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

Looking at the remaining five, I don’t see how both Davi and Eric are OKG’s? There really isn’t a need for both, right? Who stays and who goes?

From what I have read the rules over time and what I knew year before last when GTAA Simit Shah was facilitator for NIL negotiations. GTAA and coaches were not supposed to beinvolved in transactions? Collective collects the money and turns into the NIL Company? NIL company cuts the contract. No promises before enrollment? Work for pay?

I get the feeling it is not much this way anymore. I also would like anyone who really knows what is going on with Tech to educate us. Hopefully those who give to The Tech Way know and can explain the process at Tech.

All I know about the Tech Way is that my money goes in. Not sure where it goes from there.

I'll say it again, I am truly stoked about all the new jackets that will be on this roster. I am excited to see a group of young men that are selfless and team oriented working together as one unit.

CSC is such a different coach than CDS, I just can't be surprised that Stoudamire's players just don't connect with Cross. When you make such a fundamental change in approach, it isn't realistic to think we get to cherry pick on player retention.

And the budget stuff makes player retention problematic right off the bat. So there is that on top of that.

Should be a sparkly new roster next season. It should have that new car smell.
