That's awesome.
I occasionally will play ncaa 26, simmed the season as is last night. Made the pop tarts bowl with the same w-l as the real team.

May go too.

In a world where many players (& now teams) bail on their bowl games, my sense (correct me if I'm wrong) is these are 2 programs who will have fewer opt outs than most. Bottom line ... Should be a good matchup. Good game. & will generate "buzz" ...pun intended.
Why do you think GT and BUY will have fewer opt outs? Seniors who likely are not NFL caliber? Fewer players going into the Portal? Just want to play one more game for their team?

Tough draw for GT but the game does have 'pop."

The Book of Mormon doesn’t condone opt outs and all of our offense will want to play to show off to the Florida Gators and their bright new OC

I don't have a good answer for you. Mostly / Probably wishful thinking. I've just felt all year this team is well-led & a tight group & that may coorelate to fewer compared to other teams.

But we know the number of opt-outs is less important that who (what critical positions) opt-out.

I like that the hype graphic has the toaster trophy on it. 😎

We're 2-0 in this bowl game. We beat WVU in the Blockbuster Bowl back in 1997 and we beat Syracuse in the Champs Sports Bowl back in 2004.

I'm kind of excited we at least get a bowl in FL. That's a feat being in the ACC these days.

ETA: This is also the stadium that we won the UPI NC in the win over Nebraska back in January 1991. (God bless Dr. Tom Osborne, we ought to invite him and make him our special guest in lieu of Bobby Ross... Ha!).

Truth. I hope we only have a few. There is no way to know right now. We will start hearing about them very soon and guys will announce they are going into the portal soon as well. Of course that is true for every team.

Is there any reason why Key has not announced Weinke will be interim coordinator and will call plays in the bowl game? And I'm in agreement this is a great opportunity. For us. Now we have to win!
