We turned Rusty C into baseball's version of Cameron Indoor. Great thing is we’ll do it all over again tonight!

Might have been best atmosphere / crowd, across all of Tech sports this year. The Pitt football game had a similar vibe (nighttime, build up with lots on the line, standing room only, etc.) at the start, but things deflated quickly.

It was incredible. I wish Saturday was 8pm as well. Ha

There has been a lot of talk about Williams being forced to come home because his teammate was almost at third thus removing the blame from Williams for poor base running. However, the view from behind third base clearly shows that Williams never took his eyes off Patel so his decision to break for home had nothing to do with the other baserunner. He was running regardless of that fact. He felt his speed would allow him to score once Patel went to first. He was obviously wrong i.e. his speed was no match for the execution of Patel Schmidt and Lackey.
Williams is a show boat, not a team player. If he played for us, I would stop watching. I dont think Ramsey would want any part of him. I am surprised CLJ has him on his team.

Nice series win. Hit 343, and 417 RISP. We weren't unlucky tonight! Had 10 LOB but 8 runs. Very nice from a very special team.

Pitching and D were phenomenal again too. Announcers loving us.

Like yesterday, this one also felt closer on the scoreboard than it did on the field. Their offense just looks toothless and their pitching again barely held up against our bats. If we get a decent start from Blakely tomorrow I think the brooms come out and people start debating whether we should be #1 next week or wait to see if we take the UNC series.

I agree with Wiley their are some teams as good but none better today. Who knows how this team is playing at the end of the season but on 4-10-26 Id take Tech over the field.

Porter Buursema has been giving us some valuable innings. He should continue to start...at least for now.

The coaches might actually know what they are doing despite some critics thinking who should and should not be the starters over the last couple of seasons...including Mason Patel who has been stellar out of the bullpen.

Once they decided the Mason starting experiment neeed to come to an end, they've managed him superbly.

Buursema is on the same trajectory as Tate. He's a 4-5 inning guy, next year he's a 6-7 inning Friday anchor.
Yeah, he's got great stuff. Notice a lot of check swing K's from the opponents. Just has to work some on the control, but overall doing great.

I was real happy for Alex tonight, He has been struggling but answered tonight. He will be fine. Not everybody is "on" at the same time.
