After the last year and a half of wrong first step efford, key will loose my respect if we play him and he still goes the wrong way.

1. I still blame scheme for last year
2. It was every LB
3. Efford may be like a pitcher that got left in too long and never recovers. Only way to know and get over it is to play him. Hoping for a quick hook if he's not back to normal.

He got washed out on plays an awful lot when he had to contend with OL. I hope I’m wrong but he seemed like a tweaner last season, not strong enough to shed big lineman and not fast enough to drop into coverage. I feel bad saying that so hope I’m wrong, it was just a bad scheme, and he has a great season this year.

My last post about a player i really like and hope has a great 26.

Watch nfl playoffs or last 4 cfp games and u see LB and safeties move after their feet IMMEDIATELY SLIDE towards thier goal on the play. THEN THIER LEG CROSSED TO HASE OR CLOSE. THEY LOOK LIKE SHORT STOPS

WE STOOD IN ONE PLACE THEN USED LEGS TO START CHASING.

On the minus side, we are apparently losing a capable person

On the plus side, we have good people, and that’s validated when factories want to poach them. We had long posts here about how badly we were recruiting and doing in the portal, but Alabama seems to disagree.

We’re either finding and hiring good people, or developing them, or both. Hopefully that continues
