Nope,

They are going to hire the administrator from McNeese St (that Wade worked for) probably in the next couple of days. And then on April 1st, when Wade's buyout drops to $3M they'll fire McMahon and hire Wade. They'll owe McMahon $8M to fire him.

NCSt fans are probably reeling but I kinda think this does them a favor. I've never been all that enamored with Wade as a coach. Seems like he wants to be a personality, which usually doesn't end well.

Bad optics for the ACC, for sure tho.

I would say the bad optics belong to LSU and Wade.

NC State only suffers the indignity of trying to win at all costs and trying to keep up with their daddies. They weathered that storm, danced, and were effed over by the guy that everyone knew Wade was.

Its also LSU giving the finger to the clawless NCAA which I thoroughly enjoy.

Im happy to not be a part of the situation while being able to point and laugh.

Much more likely that they are tapping the Taxpayer Tycoons with this $200Mil. Real Tycoons way to smart for this nonsense when the contracts state that the public is the safety net. It is the collegiate version of TARP funds.

Say what you will about the 2025-2026 Georgia Tech Men's Basketball team, but at least we beat that smug ****!

If someone asks me about the highlight of this season, that would probably be it. Helping run that ahole out of the ACC.

I agree with you about character of the guy who is now departed from Raleigh, but I think this means Siddle will move to the Triangle and be a huge problem for the ACC.
