I’m aware this is little brother energy, but of course we have our best regular season in program history, capped off by a conference tourney win, and UGA does the exact same thing. God forbid they have a down year in literally anything ever so one of our programs can have the spotlight.

Just please let’s make it further than them in the NCAAs so we can have the last laugh
We run-ruled them......

On the line (and leaning over). He made an attempt to get out of the way. Not saying it was illegal, just super cheap.

Watched most of that game and came away not very impressed.
I've long felt that the batters box needs to be moved off the plate an inch or two more than it is, especially in the college game. As it stands, college pitchers are often afraid to come inside because the bats don't reward them as they should and also the probability of a hit batter is too high..

Anyone have a link to the video of the malicious slide. My Google skills aren't good enough. All I have been able to find is a video of their basketball coach apparently "ejecting" his own player in a game this past season.

Exactly.

The mutts are a joke. Sec is behind acc this year.

Midget boy scheduled 20 q4 games. Most of anyone in the top 10 rpi. 28th schedule. Whoopee.....

Every metric has us better than ucla

Even championship games....

Barely escape 14 oregon while tech smokes # 2 ranked unc in Charlotte.

Nuff said....They'll screw us with 2 national seed but let's be honest....just a bunch of west coast homers

Uga...That team better be prepared for teams that can pitch. Guaranteed regional and/or super regional teams won't blow 6-0 leads like the gates did:LOL:

Other than some sort of superficial recognition, can you please explain how we would be screwed with a #2 seed? I am interested in this question as well as your thoughts on it. thx.
TIC .....but let's be real.

Tech is the best team in the country.

Simple eye test tells you that

Would you not prefer #16 seed

Theoretically, the #1 team has an easier path than everyone else. Pretty simple.

A random observation about our team is what a good group of guys they seem to be and how easy they are to root for.

I remember that Tennessee team we played in 2022. They were a similar dominant team but they were insufferable. Trash talking, posing all the time, led by a complete jerk of a coach. So refreshing to see our guys that dominate but are led by a great human being at coach and great captain in Burress who do everything they can to play the right way and show all teams respect.

I need to see who 15/16 are before I answer that. If there's such a big difference between 1/2 ... then the same could be true of 15/16. ...& based on all the hubbub... 16 may be way better than 15.
In the end it doesn't matter till you get to omaha...

If #1, you get #4 #5 and # 8

#1 is simply an easier path theoretically

Buzzing a few of the plate huggers from a guy that throws gas tends to remedy the plate hugging if batters are smart.

Burress' postgame interview was so refreshing.

Basically said everyone is pulling in one direction. Said it's hard in this day and age to not have a bunch of guys with one foot in, one foot out looking for the next opportunity. But they don't have that problem.

The way the system works and with Ga Tech and UCLA so far apart geographically... the "path" for Ga Tech out of the regional will mostly likely be exactly the same was a #1 or #2 ... the regional opponents will be the same for each team regardless which is #1 or #2. ...from there you are correct, #1 v #16 and #2 v #15 ... theoretically, 'easier' as the #1; but I don't buy that to be certain for a second.

In the end, I don't care if they get 1 or 2.

National seed where you have the chance to host all the way to omaha is what I wanted...

If you get to omaha, you are going to be playing elite level teams

The fact that we run ruled Auburn and Uga and went 2-2 against uncheat on the road (All national seeds) shows how legit we are...

No TEAM can match tech's 22-5 quad 1 record...
