Very possible, we are entering prime poach season...some bad stuff is going to happen, just like every year, just gotta roll with it
I would hate it if that happened and would be seriously pi$$ed. I might even advocate canceling the contract to play them.

However, we also have Philo, who is also a special talent. So all would not be lost.

I’m super worried that TN may come after him now

I said last year that Philo is probably the best overall passer on the team. He's got an advanced understanding of the passing game...which makes sense when you consider he holds the Georgia's HS record for career passing. The guy makes it look easy, and he does it with an eerie calmess when there's chaos all around him in the pocket.

Then you add his surprising quickness to do damage with his legs.

Philo is a high level starter caliber QB already. GT is extremely lucky to have him, and that he's has the patience to wait his turn. He's going to be a special QB and football player.

We need to get rid of the QB run UTM on short yardage play for Kings healths sack.

We also need to cut down on the sideways passing that leads to QB trying to make gash plays so the qb's in the pipeline arent forced to try to mimic King.

After watching King - hit all his targets and philo do his thing, we should all agree gt is in good shape at qb. Philo's stop and pop is very very good. Still young, less risk averse and could get tricked by good pass defense. As King said - philo will be a baller.

Also Knowles is very tall and seems to see whole field- a classic power run first qb. Could really dink and dunk to recievers

I am totally stoked about the depth of RB, TE and WR room for years to come.

This year e transfer rb will be good and Haynes and the fast freshman at RB will be swing pass threat. The Luke Harpjng was on same page as the qb and Stockton is quickly vecoming my second favorite wr. Then we saw Zion just go out and be a beast.

Philo’s pick at the goal line was unfortunate and an example of his inexperience. However, I’m glad he did that. He’s much less likely to do that in a real game.
The WRs failed badly on that play. The “blocker” completely failed to block the DB and the receiving WR didn’t space himself far enough from the blocking WR.

That happened earlier in the game on the right sideline. Of course few of the WRs will get much playing time except for Stockton. He is a player!

Now that i've had a chance to watch the spring game thanks to the post above. What i saw was very promising actually. OUr Offensive lien often had ot resort to chips and double teams to keep our edge off the QBS. This type of attention will limit TE effectiveness and free up backers if we can get 4 to occupy 6. Makes us less susceptible to draws and screens. Our DBs were not giving our recievers a lot of separation. But we were able to scheme them open and when we did our QB's seemed to find the target in the soft zone. Perfect offensive execution will always beat perfect defense its just rare.
The fact that we threw so much was likely because we get more work out of that than a power running game in a spring game. You don't want your backs to get hurt and you don't want the wear and tear on your LBS.

Haynes King was super sharp when he was in there. Looked very good throwing the ball.

One thing I am curious about: Matt Rhule said Nebraska wouldn't play a spring game because other teams would be scouting players to poach. We've taken a more fearless approach. It will be interesting to see if any more of our guys hit the portal compared to other teams.

I recall we had a DT who was our spring game MVP and Ole Miss poached him. That was the last year we had spring game awards. So I guess we'll see.
