Let’s see, they’ll tout Georgia as a top 3 team, try to get Texas in at number one, claim LSU is back, that Tennessee is really, finally, this time for real, back, sprinkle in Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and then suggest that the following teams are better than most other teams in any other conference -Florida, Auburn, Missouri, Mississippi, Arkansas.
So, yeah, they’ll have 12 teams in the top 25. Where’s Vanderbilt, you may ask? Oddly, this is the one team the SEC fails to promote on a daily basis and it seems to carry over to the sports writers. They will receive votes but will neither rise as fast as other SEC teams nor linger as long in the rankings if they lose.
