But in my estimation his results were strong considering the talent level he was working with. Franklin sprung football success at Vanderbilt into getting hired by Penn St.  Again, making more with less talent.  Time will tell if we can accumulate more talent at GT through both recruiting and the transfer portal.  But I think Key has done a good job for us by making GT competitive in most games with decent but certainly not top tier talent. Every coach's circumstance is different and my way of measuring their success is do they overperform or underperform expectations.  Kirby certainly has not underperformed but his predecessor (Richt) seemed too.</p></blockquote><p></p>
