Message: <blockquote data-quote="Heisman&#039;s Ghost" data-source="post: 1046066" data-attributes="member: 4015"><p>I do not understand college coaches.  They will roll out that three rush 8 defend defense every time with the game on the line and consistently get burned.  This time, State did it and Philo said thank you and ran practically untouched until he got near the end zone.   Then Tech, not to be outdone, does the same thing and was very fortunate that the State kicker just missed a 58 yard field goal for the win.  About the only thing that "prevent defense" actually prevents is your team winning.   State had great success rushing the passer and went away from it.  I don't understand  coaches sometimes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
