I think the focus was on the agent, a former Tech player.
This is why I shouldn’t be allowed to read the internet after a specified hour.

Truly seems to be off the radar. However, he’s a 2x All-ACC DT, so I’m confident that NFL scouts know who he is.I don't understand why no nfl scouting invite. He popped in games and on film more than anyone on the defense. Hell he was on the football freak players list since his sophomore year i believe.
CBS has him as the 18th ranked DLTruly seems to be off the radar. However, he’s a 2x All-ACC DT, so I’m confident that NFL scouts know who he is.
Wonder what the knock against him may be? He has the size and appeared to be quick for a DT. Production was clearly evident.

I can't imagine that is the primary reason. Surely there are players from lesser programs or from teams that went much worse than 9-4 that got invites. The NFL doesn't care about your program and its recent history. We went 9-4 Had we got a win over UGA or the ACC or won the bowl game he'd been there.

31. New England Patriots
Keylan Rutledge, G/C, Georgia Tech
This might not be the same level of surprise as the Patriots' Cole Strange pick was a few years back, but I haven't seen anyone put Rutledge in Round 1 yet. It could happen. In talking to teams over the past few weeks, Rutledge is viewed as a Day 1 or Day 2 prospect. He allowed just two sacks over 43 career starts. At this point, the Patriots need to protect Drake Maye, and even if it's viewed as a reach on draft day, this could be the guy to get the job done.
Keylan Rutledge now being mocked in the first round
Of course more talent will flow to the big programs, but scouting is never a perfect art and there will always be gems and late risers.thanks for the link. Just a random thought when reading the list - there is a guy projected to go in round 1 from Toledo. In this day of NIL and the portal, I wonder how often we will see guys from the MAC or even lesser conferences go in round 1? We may never see the likes of Jerry Rice from MVS, Larry Allen from Sonoma State (R2), Phil Simms from Morehead State, etc. again.
