Biggest Regional disaster in GT sports I’ve seen in 50 years and there has been plenty. Major Leaguers up and down the lineup and could not take care of a mid level SEC team who had to play 5 games in 4 days. Best GT team ever will never be this talented again.

You’re right I’m going to blame it on the pre season hype and high ranking. Was hoping the pitching would be just good enough and it was for the most part until the last 4 games.

Looks like new coach/ new season but same old awful pitching. How Tech can’t put a decent staff together in this state baffles me. I fall for it every year….

Yes that’s why I’m not angry. Disappointed for sure but I believe Key has done a solid job of coaching the talent that’s there.

A lot of highly rated Georgia High School defensive players this year. Unfortunately they all are going to Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Texas. $$$$$$

I don’t understand why some are so angry. Other than King Tech has an average ACC roster. King had a bit of an off night which was enough to result in a loss to another team with an average ACC roster. At least Tech is good enough now to compete with just about anyone. I hope Key can find a way...

Georgia was very lucky that Tech barely missed the field goal and the muffed punt they had did not land in the arms of a Jacket. So many things worked out for them to win.

To me it appears Pyron does not fit the offense Buster wants to run which is more RPO. GT will always need a quick/elusive QB who can burn you with the run so the defense - (Jones, Hamilton, Ball, Nesbit,Thomas, King). These guys could take a busted play and turn it into gold.

If you told me before the game that VT would only score 21 points I would have told you GT wins. Still can’t believe that opponents aren’t making dumb mistakes against GT- 2 defensive interceptions in 9 games is unbelievable. No scoop and scores come to memory or special teams touchdowns...

I agree. Other than getting beat badly by Tennessee and Clemson they look like a difficult opponent for GT.

I consider myself fortunate to get to know Ken out here at Lake Oconee. I will miss our discussions about Tech and golf. Prayers go out to all of his family and friends-Such a great humble soul and may he rest in peace.

I think Tech is still years away unless they can land some big time transfers. Next year I see 2 losses to Clemson and uga, 2 definite wins, and 8 toss-up games. At least it’s evident that Key has them playing hard and that there is a shot to win in every game.
